SYS-GRP Grabo Pro-Lifter Adapter Instructions
With each SYS-GRP Grabo Pro-Lifter Adapter ordered, you should receive the SYS-GRP Grabo Pro-Lifter Adapter, a 'Joey' washer and a 'Joey' nut. To begin installation you will need the following:
-
SYS-GRP Grabo Pro-Lifter Adapter assembly
- Supplied 'Joey' washer
- Supplied 'Joey' nut
- Grabo Pro-Lifter 20 (not supplied)
- 5mm Hex bit or allen wrench
- 9/16" socket that will fit in the available Grabo nut location
- Cup of coffee or other adult beverage
INSTRUCTIONS
- To start, you will need to remove the factory port plug from your Grabo Pro-Lifter 20. You can do this with a 5mm hex bit or allen wrench and 9/16" socket by flipping your Grabo over to find the nut and loosen, using the hex wrench to keep the bolt from spinning.
- Once you've removed the factory plug, thread the factory nut back onto the bolt and keep in the even you would like to remove the Grabo adapter in the future
- Remove the supplied 'Joey' nut from the threads of the Grabo adapter
- Make sure the 'Joey' washer is seated well against the bottom of the Grabo adapter (your 'Joey' washer may differ in color than what is pictured)
- Insert the Grabo adapter thru the body of the Grabo with the 'Joey' washer on the outside of the vacuum chamber
- Thread the supplied 'Joey' nut onto the threads of the adapter
- Tighten the nut down to seal the adapter against the Grabo body. Do not over torque or apply extra 'ugga-dugga' to the nut
- Actuate the valve closed on the assembly and place the Grabo on a non-porous surface. This step is critical to test for any vacuum leaks.
- Once you are statisfied there are no leaks you can hook your vacuum work-holding system to the push to connector port on the adapter and open the valve.
- Take a drink and enjoy your new mobile vacuum work holding solution
NOTES
- To use the Grabo to generate a vacuum, place the Grabo on a non-porous surface and activate
- Once the vacuum work-holding pods or alterntive device has a seal on a work piece you should see the vacuum pressure rise on the Grabo
- The Grabo may or may not cycle off during use, this is all dependent on both the work piece being held and the surface the Grabo is placed upon.
