Depending on the variant of the SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Vacuum pod package ordered, you should have received

MAXIMUS - TOP MOUNT SINGLE POD

  • SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Maximus Vacuum pod
  • Required M5 x 0.8mm fasteners

CORUS - SIDE MOUNT DUAL POD

  • SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Corus Vacuum pods
  • SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Corus Brackets
  • Required M5 x 0.8mm fasteners
  • Required M4 x 0.7mm fasteners
  • Required 1/4" PU Linking Tube
  • Required Tee - 1/4 inch Tube Splitter Push to Connect - 3 Way

To begin installation you will need the following:

  1. SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Vacuum pods
  2. SYS-GRP Shaper Plate brackets (Corus only)
  3. Supplied M5 x 0.8mm fasteners
  4. Supplied M4 x 0.7mm fasteners (Corus only)
  5. 4mm Hex Drive bit or allen wrench (not supplied)
  6. 2.5mm Hex Drive bit or allen wrench (not supplied - Corus only)
  7. PU linking tubing & Push to Connect Tee (Corus only)
  8. Cup of coffee or other adult beverage

MAXIMUS INSTRUCTIONS

  1. To start, simply take the provided M5 fasteners and insert them into the integrated brackets of the SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Maximus Vacuum Pod
  2. Once the M5 fasterners are in place, take the Maximus pod and pace it at the top of the Shaper Plate
  3. Align the M5 fasteners with the upper threaded mounting holes on Shaper Plate
  4. Tighten the M5 fasteners with a 4mm Hex Drive Bit or wrench. 
  5. Connect the SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Maximus Vacuum pod to the vacuum source of your choice
  6. Take drink of your beverage and prepare to use the SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Maximus Vacuum pods on your desired workpiece

CORUS INSTRUCTIONS

  1. To start, simply take the provided M4 fasteners and attach a SYS-GRP Shaper Plate brackets to each SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Corus Vacuum pod
  2. Once each pod has been affixed to a bracket, take the provided M5 fasteners and insert them thru the mounting holds on the bracket
  3. Align the M5 fasteners with the threaded mounting holes on Shaper Plate (we recommend aligning the top of the Corus pods to the top of plate)
  4. Tighten the M5 fasteners with a 4mm Hex Drive Bit or wrench. 
  5. Repeat step 4 on the opposite side
  6. Pause here to take a refreshing drink to prepare for the next steps
  7. Once your thirst has been quenched, take a section the provided 1/4" PU tubing and insert it into one of pods push to connect fittings
  8. Repeat for the opposite side
  9. Place the provided 1/4 inch Tube Splitter Push to Connect Tee between the two pods and insert the linking tube from each pod into the tee
  10. After linking each pod to one another via the tee take the remaining section of 1/4" PU tubing and insert it into the final pod in the sequence and routing this tubing to the vacuum source of your choice
  11. Take drink of your beverage and prepare to use the SYS-GRP Shaper Plate Maximus Vacuum pods on your desired workpiece
