SYS-PLT is the plate layer that makes SYS-FIT racks surface-agnostic. A tool rack should work anywhere without requiring different hardware for every surface. SYS-PLT is what makes that possible — a family of mounting plates, each designed for a specific surface type, each compatible with every SYS-FIT rack.
Current SYS-PLT targets: Systainer³ card slot fronts, MFT table sides, Dashboard PWS, 15-series aluminum extrusion, French Cleat walls, and the SYS-SRF Extrusion Kit interface for below-surface rack mounting. Every new surface that enters the SYS-FIT ecosystem requires only a new SYS-PLT — the rack hardware doesn't change.
Maximus plates have four attachment points for heavier tools, larger form factors, and applications with torque or shear forces. Minimus plates have two attachment points for lighter loads.
SYS-FIT racks do not require a SYS-PLT plate — every rack has standard mounting holes for direct surface installation. SYS-PLT is what enables tool-free, clip-in mounting across Systainer³ card slots, extrusion rails, and other quick-release surfaces.
