SYS-DTM is FORG3D's reference and squaring family: tools that set a position and hold it, so a setup doesn't have to be rebuilt from scratch each time. Cardo Square and the Cardo 320 / 640 reference bars give you a full face to register work against on a 20 mm dog-hole bench. Corso bench dogs are built to the spec Cardo depends on, and they work as everyday bench dogs on their own.
SYS-DTM tools set a position and hold it, so a setup doesn't have to be rebuilt from scratch each time. Every piece registers on 20mm dog holes at 96mm centers: SYS-SRF surfaces, Festool MFT and MFT-style tops.
Cardo Square is a clamping square that sets up without tools. Its aluminum angles attach with hand-tightened Corso Tack dogs and take any standard quick clamp. When the glue-up is done, lay it flat or register it to the dog grid and it becomes a 90° stop for Domino joinery, planing and stop work. The complete kit lives in one FORG3D Edition Systainer³ S 76.
Cardo 320 and 640 are machined aluminum reference bars. The slot lets the Corso Slot Grip and Slot Glide position and rotate the bar anywhere on the top, so the reference face goes where the work needs it, not only where the dog holes fall. Add the blocks and the Corso Bore and the same bar is a System 32 drilling guide: 37mm setback, 32mm spacing, and the Festool 492525 self-centering bit for 5mm shelf-pin and euro-screw holes.
Corso dogs are named for how far they stand above the bench. Corso 11 stops 12mm stock and Corso 16X stops 18 and 19mm stock, each finishing just below the top face of the work. Corso V cradles round stock from about 1/4 in dowel to 1 in conduit. All are 6061 aluminum, anodized FORG3D orange, and sold in pairs.
Cardo is a woodworking reference, flat-milled rather than ground. Cardo and Corso are on preorder and ship the first week of December.
