With roughly three times the work-holding capacity of our Minimus Pods, the Maximus delivers increased surface area and additional mounting options to secure your work with confidence. Designed for the standard 96 mm dog-hole pattern on MFT-style benches, Maximus Pods can be used with our AnchorDog clamping bench dogs (sold separately) or other compatible dogs that allow a fastener to be threaded into the top (such as TSO, UJK, or Benchdogs UK). For added versatility, we offer an M6 fastener with an M8 threaded adapter as an accessory.

Maximus Pods measure 90 mm tall x 185 mm wide (3.5 in x 7.25 in).

  • (2) M6 x 20 mm Flanged Button Head Fasteners

Vacuum Compatibility

All SYS-GRP BenchGrip Vacuum Pods work with most commercially available vacuum pumps typically found in a shop setting. We’ve tested with:
  • Budget vacuum pumps
  • VacuPress Compact 150 and larger
  • Grabo Pro-Lifter and DeWalt Grabo (when paired with our Grabo Pro Adapter Kit) for a fully mobile, job-site-ready solution.

Pair with the SYS-GRP Nexus Baseplate for the ultimate portable vacuum workholding platform.
Store it all in a Nexus Dock (Sortainer/2 fitout) to keep your Nexus and Grabo attached and ready for instant deployment.

Customization & Accessories

Our pods use standard 1/4” push-to-connect fittings for maximum flexibility. We offer a range of compatible fittings in the store, and our SYS-GRP Launch Blog and video walk through everything from basic setups to the “showcase” build we use in our shop.

The new way for holding your project materialsI

I absolutely love my SYS-GRP vacuum pods I recently received from Forged 3D. I needed the ability to hold material for edge banding with my Conturo and regular clamps were cumbersome and time consuming. Along comes the vacuum pods from Forged 3D. They are easy to set up and did a fabulous job of holding my materials. So much so I placed a second order for a minimus and maximus combo set.
