SYS-DST- Festool CSC SYS 50 / Kapex Extractor Adapter

Designed and released in partnership with SteveI.Design the Festool CSC SYS 50 Dust Extractor Adapter to address the friction Steve felt as soon as he started using the amazing CSC SYS 50... In his own words... 

'When the Festool CSC SYS 50 Table Saw was released, I picked one up on launch day.  When I got it home and started to use it, I quickly realized the hose on my Festool CT 48 Dust Extractor did not fit the CSC SYS 50’s dust port.  I had an older version of the 36mm hose for my CT 48 dust extractor which was smooth on the inside and did not lock onto the dust ports on many of the Festool tools.

Due to the tight tolerances around the dust port on the CSC SYS 50 Table Saw, I was also unable to put the hose over the CSC SYS 50’s dust port. My only option for dust extraction was to use the Festool Reducing Sleeve.  While the Festool Sleeve did work, it had to be friction fit into the CSC SYS 50’s dust port.  With the shape and locking lugs molded into the the CSC SYS 50’s dust port, it was hard to get a tight seal on the connection between the Festool Reducing Sleeve and the CSC SYS 50 dust port causing the hose to fall off easily. 

In order to fix this issue, I reached out to Forged 3D to jointly develop an adapter which fits inside the CSC SYS 50’s Dust port and locks into it utitizes the locking lugs molded into the CSC SYS 50’s dust port and many other Festool tools ( like the CSC SYS 50 Table Saw, Kapex KS 120, Kapex KSC 60 and Festool Cleaning Sets)'

Tested to work with Festool Extractor Hoses with 36mm opening:

• Festool Kapex KS 120
• Festool Kapex KSC 60
• Festool Cleaning Sets

Produced out of high temperature glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic for use in the workshop or the job site.
