Your 36 mm hose finally locks to the CSC SYS 50. It seats inside the port and grabs the molded lugs — no friction-fit sleeve, no dropping off mid-cut.

The SYS-DST Festool CSC SYS 50 / Kapex Extractor Adapter locks a 36 mm hose into a dust port that otherwise fights it. Older 36 mm hoses are smooth inside and won't lock to the port's molded lugs, and Festool's friction-fit Reducing Sleeve works loose and drops off. The adapter seats inside the port and engages the same molded locking lugs the tool's own accessories use. The seal holds, the hose stays put, and dust extraction stops being something you manage between cuts.

> I picked up the CSC SYS 50 on launch day. The 36 mm hose on my CT 48 is smooth inside and wouldn't lock to the port, and the tolerances were too tight to fit it over the outside. The Reducing Sleeve was my only option, and it only friction-fit, so it kept falling off. I reached out to FORG3D to build an adapter that seats inside the port and locks to the lugs molded into it.

Key Features
  • Locks to the port's own lugs: The adapter engages the molded locking lugs inside the CSC SYS 50 dust port, the same geometry the tool's accessories use. It seals and stays seated instead of working loose mid-cut.
  • Seats inside, not over: It fits into the port rather than sleeving across it. That ends the friction-fit slip that drops a hose under vibration.
  • One adapter, every shared-port tool: It fits the CSC SYS 50, Kapex KS 120 and KSC 60, and Festool Cleaning Sets. Anything built around the same 36 mm locking-lug port takes the same adapter.
Compatibility & Notes
  • Works with Festool extractor hoses that have a 36 mm opening.
  • Compatible tools: Festool CSC SYS 50 Table Saw, Kapex KS 120, Kapex KSC 60, and Festool Cleaning Sets.
  • A 27 mm hose connects to the CSC SYS 50 port directly and does not need this adapter.
  • Additively manufactured in high-temperature glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic for shop and jobsite use.
  • Available only in black. The green adapter in product photos is shown for visual contrast.

Very nice adaptor for the CSC SYS 50

it fits the dust port on the saw perfectly! It does lock in place but not as tightly as a Festool hose does! It can twist and come loose. All in all it’s the best adaptor I have seen for extending the port. I was able to use a Rockler quick connector on the adaptor to connect to my dust collector. Very pleased with the product. Highly recommend this company.

Ah, a solution

Finding items specific to the CSC SYS 50 has been problematic. One of the items I have been looking for is a way to extend the output port going to my extractor. The SYS-DST- Festool CSC SYS 50 / Kapex Extractor Adapter suits the purpose. The item appears to be well constructed and works will in my environment. That said, there would be two things I would enhance to be more ideal (at least for me). 1) extend the area that connects into the extractor hose a bit. Probably no more than half of an inch longer. 2) rather than the adapter connecting to the inside of the CSC 50 extractor port, I would prefer it connect to the outside of the port. To be clear, these things to not change the fact the adapter works and seems to be of good quality. If you need an adapter for your CSC 50, consider this one.

Mike, Thanks for the review and the patronage! We love getting feedback from customers on how they are using our products in their workshop, jobsite on in their workflows... And we especially love hearing improvements we can make to further refine and perfect our products. We will definetly look at the if extending the adapter makes sense. We now have a CSC SYS 50 in the shop to play with on a long term basis, so refinements are a definite possiblity.

On inside or outside of the dust port... Due to the tight window the dust port travels during angled operations nailing the fitment and getting ample material to support the dust hose is troublesome. We tried to strike the best balance of being able to use a larger extractor hose and minimally restrict the air flow for dust capture while at the same time provide a product that will last in the less than gentile environments we expect it to be used in.

Again, thanks for your purchase and your feedback!

Your Workflow. Without Limits.
