SYS-GRP Grabo Pro-Lifter Adapter
SYS-GRP Grabo Pro-Lifter Adapter

A Grabo is great for material handling and lifting. SYS-GRP is built for workholding — but a traditional vacuum pump setup can lock you to the bench.
SYS-GRP Grabo Pro-Lifter Adapter lets you pair a Grabo Pro-Lifter 20 with SYS-GRP pods, so you can take workholding to the work — then transition back to normal Grabo operation with a single knob.
Build Your System
Pick based on whether you want remote vacuum release.
Standard
Start here. If you don’t use a Grabo Remote (most workflows don’t), this is the configuration you want — with single‑knob switching between lifting and workholding.
Remote-Ready
Built for workflows that already use a Grabo Remote. Retains normal Grabo operation and adds remote vacuum release, with the same single‑knob switching to move between lifting and workholding.
Key Features
Single-knob mode switching: One control switches between standard Grabo operation and SYS-GRP pod workholding.
Mobile workholding: Use SYS-GRP BenchGrip or Component Grip pods with the Grabo as the vacuum source — no fixed pump required.
Compatibility / Notes
- Compatible with Grabo Pro-Lifter 20
- Grabo Remote not included
- Grabo Pro-Lifter 20 sold separately

We ordered these so that we could securely hold our festool tracks down with a smaller footprint than the geckos have.
We work exclusively with solid surface materials like Corian. So suction works great.
We had a project at Texas A&M where every single piece had to be fabricated onsite and custom fit. We could not use any of our fancy machinery at the shop.
Knowing that every angle cut had to be made with one of our Festo track saws sent us on the hunt for a hold down system that would hold rock solid. We had to make hundreds of beveled cuts at over 100” long and get them to seam up flawlessly. We could not have any flex on our tracks or the seams would not pull.
This is not a big deal on the 4’ tracks but on the 9’ and the 14’ tracks, deflection can become an issue and bowing can occur if the tracks are not held rock solid.
We went ahead and ordered several of these hold downs for the tracks.
They performed great paired with an extra grabo we had at the shop. When you turn the Grabo on, you do need to push down on the forged track vacuum pods to get them to suck down. Not a big deal on the smaller tracks where the pods are close together, but on the longer 14’ tracks you will need a second person to help hold down the pods.
Once the vacuum builds, and they suck down, they are rock solid.
This was a special project we found ourselves working on and they worked amazingly well for what we had to do. The smaller footprint was critical to success.
However the Festool Geckos are faster, simpler and do not require batteries or another piece of equipment IF you have the room to mount them. The geckos work great on solid surface, but they probably suck on wood, whereas these hold downs probably work good on wood.
I highly recommend having some of these guys on hand. Even though you may rarely use them, they work exceptionally well, keep the track firmly locked in place and are easy to set up and are relatively cheap.
They are great to have on hand in case you find yourself in a situation where they could really benefit the work you are doing.
I highly recommend you check these out.

Everything was just as advertised! Well made and well-packaged.
The adaptor would not fit as delivered. I had to take it apart and use half of it.
