SYS‑SRF is a portable, purpose-built work surface designed to lock in to the top of your Systainer stack. It turns your mobile kit into a usable stage for layout, staging, and light assembly — removing the dead zone between arriving on site and being ready to build. Each surface seats directly onto the stack and, depending on the configuration, opens up extrusion interfaces, doghole grids, and dedicated tool docking.
Build Your System
SYS‑SRF is available in two sizes — Minor and Metris — each offered in three configurations: Core, Foundation, and Dock for your TrackSaw. Pick your size first (how much working area you want), then the configuration (how much system geometry you want built into the top).
Minor
The worksurface is designed to work on either Systainer family while staying within the SYS‑CART rolling envelope. On a Systainer M Series, the footprint overhangs the stack top — creating room for extrusion interfaces along the outer edges and BenchGrip vertical workholding that normally requires a full bench. On a Systainer L Series, Minor sits clean and surface‑first, with full BenchGrip horizontal workholding compatibility.
Minor is available in Core, Foundation, and Dock for your TrackSaw.
- Core: Extrusion interfaces on the outside edges plus 8 dogholes — system‑capable for repeatable setups and accessory mounting.
- Foundation: Full 20 mm grid (96 mm pitch, MFT‑compatible) with extrusion interfaces on the outside edges — when repeatability and positioning are the priority.
- Dock for your TrackSaw: A pocketed nest so the track saw has a real home on the stack, not just a parking spot.
Metris
More working area, more system leverage. Metris overhangs the L‑Series Systainer top — opening up extrusion interfaces, BenchGrip in both horizontal and vertical orientations, and roughly 20% more working area than Minor. For M‑Series users, the Metris footprint opens an additional path: AnchorPod vacuum workholding on the same stack you were already moving.
Metris is available in Core, Foundation, and Dock for your TrackSaw.
- Core: Extrusion interfaces on the outside edges plus 8 dogholes — system‑capable for repeatable setups and accessory mounting.
- Foundation: Full 20 mm grid (96 mm pitch, MFT‑compatible) with extrusion interfaces on the outside edges — for workflows that benefit from a full field of positioning options.
- Dock for your TrackSaw: A pocketed rail rest and saw body nest scaled to the Metris footprint.
Key Features
- On‑stack ready: Designed to lock in to the top of a Systainer stack so your setup stays coherent from shop to jobsite.
- Stable working plane: A consistent surface for staging, layout, and light assembly when the nearest “flat spot” is never actually flat.
- Fast deployment: Drops in quickly and packs down clean so it behaves like a real part of the kit, not a special event.
- System‑expandable: Core, Foundation, and Dock configurations include extrusion interfaces with mounting hardware for standard-sourced extrusion — opening the path to SYS‑PLT plates and SYS‑FIT racks below the working surface; along with SYS-GRP integration.
Compatibility / Notes
- SYS‑SRF is a work surface product only — no built‑in vacuum, no integrated clamping.
- Core, Foundation, and Dock configurations include extrusion interfaces on the outer edges. Mounting hardware is included; extrusion is sourced separately. SYS‑PLT plates attach to the extrusion, allowing SYS‑FIT racks to mount above the working surface.
- BenchGrip pods are compatible with SYS‑SRF in surface‑friendly orientations.
- Not compatible with Systainer3 M 89 and L 89 Organizers
- Older T-Loc Systainers require our optional T-Loc Surface Cleats
System Links
- SYS‑FIT — fitout racks that mount above the surface via SYS‑PLT for tool deployment and organization
- SYS‑PLT — plates that connect SYS‑FIT racks to sourced extrusion via the interfaces on Core, Foundation, and Dock configurations
- SYS‑MNT — mounting solutions for Systainer stack integration
- SYS‑GRP — vacuum workholding; BenchGrip pods are compatible with SYS‑SRF in surface‑friendly orientations
FAQs
What is SYS‑SRF for?
SYS‑SRF is built for staging, layout, and light assembly on a stable surface that travels with your stack. It is designed to reduce re‑setup friction when you move between bench, cart, and jobsite contexts.
Does SYS‑SRF include vacuum workholding?
No. SYS‑SRF is a surface product only. Vacuum workholding lives in SYS‑GRP.
Is SYS‑SRF a replacement for a full workbench?
No. It is designed to expand your usable work surface on the top of your kit, not replace a dedicated bench.
What is SYS‑SRF made from?
SYS‑SRF panels are CNC-cut from a high-density, moisture-resistant engineered wood composite — built for stiffness, flatness, and long service life in workshop and jobsite conditions.
What size extrusion works with SYS‑SRF? SYS‑SRF is designed to work with standard 30-series (30mm) extrusion. 250mm is the recommended length for most stack configurations.
Does SYS‑SRF come with extrusion? The SYS‑SRF Extrusion Kit includes two 250mm black anodized pieces with FORG3D CNC inserts and hardware kit — everything you need, ships with your order.
Your Workflow. Without Limits.
